Except if you are Joanie Wills....

Just wanted to let you know that I edited my very first post for Joanie who was humorously offended by the "trying to be 17 when you are 30 - in a hatchback" comment. I was not refering to her by any means, just for the record.

and Lastly, but certainly not least, I had a WONDERFUL night with my best friend Erin S. (ooo your identity is becoming clearer....hhahah) catching up over a pint of hef and blue moon. It was lovely and we both felt like we were back in the UK! Gosh I miss that feeling. Frodgham anyone?

Going to a bachelorette party tomorrow night, have to buy something in leopard, as I am clear out of my leopard wears. and need to get a sexy teddy for Meg! woot woot! So don't expect a post tomorrow night, cuz you won't get it!

As always, Peace out yo!

p.s. looking forward to girls night on saturday!!!!!

Pilates and the birthing ball

So another day of pilates to kick my butt has come and gone. Today we did these "great" ball excercises. This is one of the times when I wish one of the girls was in the class with me! So.... we are on a ball like this... Then we roll back like this... Then we roll forward like this...... and I seriously felt like I was birthing the ball! Really, I would have peed my pants if one the girls was with me!
All I could think about was, how I had to blog about this tonight!!! Honestly this could be one of the most hysterical classes to take in the whole wide world! Some one needs to make a reality show out of this! Or at least out of me and sara and shauna and erin and joslyn and heather and erin T attempting to do all of these excerices...with out laughing...it would be a great conest that know one would win!

That's about it. Just had to share that move with you- cuz I know some of you would get a kick out of it. I will leave you with this: This is a machine I should never get on...and even more the position on the machine I should never get into. I can just see my feet flying over the back of head and getting me stuck in the most awkward postion in the world and laughing so hard I can't get myself out of it. What do you think?

All You Need to Know About New York

Hey bloggers,
So just thought I should give you a little tid bit about how my trip to NY was. Definitely THE slowest show we have ever done. When your boss comes over to you in the middle of the show and says "I am definitely BORED!" you know you are having one heck of a slow show!
But besides that the SHOPPING was GREAT! I spent more than I should have, but since I don't try anything on when I am in NY (the lines for the dressing rooms are ridiculous!) I am returning about half the stuff, so that makes the dent I put in our pocket book a whole lot better! For the girlies here is some of the stuff I picked up (and am keeping):
  • Balondino shoes in taupe (super cute! and totally ruined my pedicure when I tried them on)
  • Sweatshirt jacket and could of shirts from Old Navy
  • two loose T-neck shirts from H&M
The selection is amazing in New York, I swear (and it is probably true) they don't put most of that stuff in our stores here on the West Coast!

I went out one night with one of the bosses and two of the Reps, after dinner. We had such a blast, having prickly pear margaritas at the Mesa Grill then walking through Time Square (woo hoo, there is one more thing I can check off my list as "done") going up and down the elevators in the W and Mariott Hotels, and getting a bum to help us with our parking meter- then tipping him 10 times as much as we put in the meter! That night was a blast and was worth the little sleep we got as we got into bed some time near 1 am!

One day Erin S. and I and hopefully a good deal of you readers and I will go to NY together and have one blast of a trip checking off the remainder of the things I need to do in NY
  • The Today Show @ Rockerfeller Center
  • Go Through St. Patricks Cathedral
  • See a show on Broadway
  • Go up the Empire State Building
  • See the Statue of liberty
  • Take a carriage ride through Central Park
  • Ride in the Cash Cab with Ben- AND win the money
  • and as the King would say "etc, etc, etc."
Well it is time for me to sign off. I had four ours of sleep last night, and when I got into bed at 5 pm this evening I thought I was out for the night, so I am still tired here at 8:35 pm and should try to go get some more sleep.
