Family, Fun and Bitter Sweet Goodbye's.

What a whirwind of a weekend we have had.
Friday night we were over at the Taylor's for dinner and Rummicube, which is quickly becoming our go to game. Little Emma was so bubbly and was loving bouncing up and down in our arms. Her chubby little legs are getting so strong I think she will be crawling in no time. She is such a delight, happy and never a tear! ANNDDD she goes right to sleep when they lay her down! WHATT!!!
Saturday Aaron and I lazed a little in the morning watching a gret thunderstorm blow threw, with lightning and all. That's probably one of my favorite things to do. After that I ran up costco and target to get prepartions for Katie's going away party that we had at The Rellik Tavern in town. We had such a nice turn out. Pretty much everyone was able to come including our family from So. Cal. I think Katie was really pleased.
After the party we went home and had some hamburgers and hotdogs with the fam and a couple of Katie's best friends. I think the ending to the night was bitter sweet for her, saying goodbye to her friends for a year. It sounds like everyone wants to use her as an excuse though to get across the "pond"! So that will be nice for her to think about and await their/our arrival.
Today is Sunday and we had breakfast with our Aunt, Uncle and Dad. It was so nice to eat an intimate meal with them. We took some great pictures on the waterfront before we all said goodbye. There is nothing like having the water as your back drop.
We are off to frisbee in an hour or so and then I hear rummors of another barbque tonight!

Las Cruces Day Two

Well lets just say Friday was a much better day than a slighty chaotic Wednesday and Thursday.

We Played some more tennis, as per usual and ran some errands to the mall and target, etc, etc, etc.

In the evening we dined at this AWESOME local pizza place- gourmet like pizza- that makes thier own bread and everything- think Boudin's meets CPK. It's called Zeffiro's and I can't stress to you how absolutely fantastic the food was and the bread and the desert and the staff! Super YUM!

Mom bought us all tickets to see a play at one of the community theatre, called Look Homeward Angel...and we did, at intermission....the spa was much more tempting than the less than mediocre acting we were painfully sitting through! I always feel bad about leaving a preformance early, especially at a small venue where your presence or lack thereof is clearly apparent....but we just couldn't take it any more!!!!!!

Anyway, another great day full of great memories!
