The Block!!!!!

OMG! Shauna and I just got back from the New Kids on the Block concert in SJ and it was BOMB! I can not tell you how much fun we had! I am sooooooo glad that we decided to get tickets and go. Shauna, you are so awesome for staying on top of me, becuase I would have been MAJORLY BUMMED if I didn't go. I practically danced the whole time! My throat is sore from screaming at the top of my longs, for 2 hours, and my ears are still not completely calibrated from all the noise! They sang like every single song we loved, and we sang a long to each and everyone. From Hanging Tough to Summertime! Shauna even bought a NKOTB shirt on ebay for the show!!!!!
The boys are looking efing good for being in thier late 30's and early 40's! Highlights were definitely A. Natasha Beddingfield Opening for them (lady ga ga did the first act, and she is....interesting?). B. Jordan doing his dance with shirt unbottoned and his HOT body showing. C. Joey Trying to hit his pre-adolecent soprano on "Please Don't Go Girl" D. Donnie, singing my favorite song, "cover Girl" (and me dancing to it, like it was 1989 all over again).

The New Kids definitely rocked my world (and shauna's too), I would rate this concert #1 out of all the concerts I have ever been too!

NEw YOrk, NEw YoRk!

Doesn't that make you want to sing?!

SOOOOOOOOO... it's 5:50 am and I have been up for 30minutes b/c I couldn't sleep based on the fact that I have sooo much to do before I leave for New York at the butt crack of dawn tomorrow morning. I will be spending 6 days there instead of my usual 5, for work. People tell me " you are so lucky, that is so cool, new york!" and I am like "think again! I work the ENTIRE time!" I have been to new york close to a dozen times and have only been to ground zero and only driven through time square. I could see the Empire state building from the roof of one of the hotels I stayed at once, but that is about as close as I got to it. Honestly, like my dad says, I want to take a couple extra days and go out early (so the company can pay for my flights!!!hahaha) and explore the city, take in a musical on Broadway, do all the "Touristy" stuff!
Ok enough crying for one day. I most likely won't post tonight, so farewell for 6 days, and I will tell you about all my adventures when I get back!

Tonight we had a wonderful dinner with Christine, Antonio, Baby Katherine, Joslyn and Justice, Erin S.* (to protect the not so innocent) and Lisa! Aaron came after class, and I DIDN'T BURN THE MEAL AND IT DID TASTE GREAT! Comments from the peanut gallary gladly accepted!

Erin S. did great with her try's at speaking spanish to Antonio. The best was " 'chi chi' that's milk right?" and Christine responding with "NO! That's Boobie!" hahahah! Classic Erin S. moment right there; it was almost as good as "Para Ti- like a Par-ty, you know 'Fiesta' !?" and " I remembered my 'biblioteca'" (which was for "bible")! So great! I love watching and listening to her try to speak spanish, though I will say mine is not much better...I lack confindence more than anything. Other than that, it was a calm enjoyable night.

On To Thursday...

So if you haven't checked out the comments from yesterday, you really must! hahah! Guess what?! I think I actually got some one to read my crappy blog that DOES NOT know me! What are the chances! They didn't like it, clearly, but who cares. Maybe I put a bug in them and they will just feel like they have to come back for more...Or Not.

Ok so the funniest thing- In pilates class today, we got these new balls- like resistance balls (see picture). And I really wished at the moment that we were squeezing the balls between our thighs that I could be writing this blog live. I almost texted Erin S. that I was "Squeezing a ball between my legs, and NO it wasn't Aaron's (of which he has two, just to clarify)!" hahahaha! Just thought that was funny, oh and the fact that I was "squeezing and releasing the ball, and pumping my hips" all at the same time. Something is just seriously wrong with that.

Well that pretty much does it. This was probably the lameset blog I have left yet. But look to the left and you will see the Erin S. and I will soon be working on a blog that is sure to have you in stiches, everytime (or at least we will be).

Bloggied, blog, blog-blog...

Mehhh it is only the end of Tuesday. We are not quite half way through the week. And have you ever thought about that "halfway through the week"? Everyone says "Wednesday" is halfway through the week, but in reality it is the day that seperates the former from the latter part of the week and you aren't technically "half way" until 12 pm. So only after 12 pm Wednesday can you say "we are half way through the week". Random- I know, but that is what this blog is about - Randomness.

One day erin S. and I are going to start our blog on "one page nothings" and that will intrigue you much more than this B.S. (ooo I love that game- but really, what was the point- it was like a pointless game- really)

I must say last weekend was IDEAL! For the first time, in honestly I don't know when, Aaron and I stayed at home on a Saturday! We did little jobs around the house (really, I did little jobs, and he played video games) then went out for a quick little lunch and then went home for the rest of the evening. I watched like three movies and the rest of Privledged!, and was just so relazing! -This coming weekend however, is not going to be so relaxing- at least in that way. Just so that you get a better glimpse into my daily life (because none of you know me or anything- wishfull thinking after those really embarrassing pictures and videos I posted), This week is a "typical week" for me so it is the per fect example.
(disclaimer: remember I DO work 8-4 weekdays)
Monday- Pilates Class - F*ing kicked my butt 1.5 hours- 5:30-7:00
Tuesday- Went to Mike and Joslyns for dinner- DE-Lious! mike please come be my personal daily cook would'ja?! (and found our from Erin T. that Sonic is now open in Ame. Canyon!- what-what! looks like we will be pulling up for a cherry slushy in the next couple of days- remind me to tell you of our BRILLIANT idea regarding sonic burger later)
Wednesday- another round of Pilates- which will probably kick my butt harder than it did Monday
Thursday- Christine and Antonio along with baby Katherine, erin S., Nate K, Jos, etc. are coming over for a little get together and dinner for the afermentioned guests of honor.- and I am cooking!-are you scared?!
Friday- Dinner with Alli and Marco-whom we haven't seen in like 4+ months- so it is well do!
Saturday- AWHHHHH! SPA DAY! at the Hennings house with Erin s. and Jos! TOTALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS! - Dinner with the Taylors and probably the rest of the gang- AND WE ARE DEFINITELY GOING TO SONIC TONIGHT!
Sunday- Church then Frisbee then probably dinner with the nerds (j/k- but no seriously)

So there you go, that really doesn't look too bad, but it IS full. Ok so this blog was lame, but I hadn't written in a few days so I needed to get something down. Did I mention Sonic burger?! and that Erin S. is writing a book? hahaha! How is that coming girl, I know you have been really putting a lot of time into it. Maybe you could do some GUEST Posting and give us little snip-bits into the plot line!

Dude! So I was in a store maybe it was yesterday or maybe it was today....gosh one day bleeds into another when you work for a living....anyway all in one aisle I saw:

• Halloween
  

1. Candy- What!? Who's buys that this far in advance?
2. Costumes: Isn't that like a last minute decision thing?
3. PUMPKINS!- HELLO! It is still September! The pumpkin will wilt and die before halloween night comes! What the F!

• Thanksgiving:

1. IT'S STILL SEPTEMBER!
2. We aren't even close to Halloween, let along thanksgiving. That is another 10 Weeks; 69 days (hehe); 1656 hours!

• Christmas:

1. Please just reference all the above comments.

I just don't get it. Do the stores really think that we prepare that early?!!! REALLY! I mean here is what I do, and I know there is a ton of you who do the same:
1. I buy just under a year a head for the next years holidays (i.e. I hit the sales the day after the holiday event)
2. I wait till the very last minute to buy the crap that has to be bought near the day of the holiday event, so I can garuntee to get the best price possible, and only buy what I need.
3....and I am not even "poor".

Do you feel me or what? I just hate seeing all these holidays bleed into one, and get promoted way too early!

Well Bloger-readers. I have been lazy! I apologies like one republic. (lame sorry about that).

So I totally passed up free tickets to the Maroon 5 concert, because none of you dipwits would go with me LAME!!!!! Free Tickets! What the heck! - oh well, I am not too concerned.

So all I have been thinking about for the past two days, is 90210 and One Tree Hill. This is how sad my life has become. One of you needs to come and rescue me from it! I can't believe Dillion and Kelly had a baby, I thought for sure it was Brandon b/c isn't that how it all left off? Dillion's wife died and he went away and kelly and brandon were together like we wanted them to be! Oh well, I am not really that upset because, Dillion was always my favorite. something about that, rough, bad-boy, no cares, boy just really struck a chord with me.! Ah~ so hot. Gotta find a picture of that one to post! So here is the thing that bums me out about that though, I read that he doesn't want to have anything to do with the show, so what! Sammy's dad will never come by to see him? ! what the heck! Maybe Branon will swoop in and play daddy and they will all live happily ever after! Though Mr. Matthews (does anyboyd find that ironic? and are any of you trying to find a corelation b/t him and one of the Matthew's brothers from Boy Meets World) is hot, and wouldn't be a bad match for Kelly, though what is up with him being like 10 years younger than her, he sure doesn't look like it!

Ok on that note, I tried to look up his real age and Jennie Garth's and IMDB has changed and now wants you to pay for that info, it is sooooo lame! I am not going to pay for that crap! I will just find it else where, it won't be as easy, but who cares!!!!! It's like paying for music ...oops no i didn't say that....I ALWAYS pay for my music,hahhaha!

Ok well enough said for another day.... tomorrow I may be late, or not post cuz we are going out to dinner, but it is a weekend night so I will probably post!

Tuesday gone and Wednesday to come

I don't feel funny this week. Not that I try or anything, I just think it got off on a bad foot, with Elsa leaving and everything. I guess I should just focus on the positive, and be thankful that I have a job.

Watching "my shows" (gosh I feel like I sound just like a house wife with 10 kids who folds laundry and watches the young and the restless on soap network, 24/7!) sure doesn't help anything, especially since watching the latest One Tree Hill episode, which I cried literally ALL the way through, thank god 90210 was happy and Privileged (GREAT new show on cw) was histarical! I wish I had as much guts as megan smith! I need that "balls" in my life, I should figure out how to do that....stand up for myself. hmmmm....that should be my year-end goal. Unlikely, but a good goal.

OOO and this chill list I have made (and continue to add to) is definitely not helping me "get happy" I need a little "life soundtrack" change....how about....Lenka. That sounds good. "I'm just a little caught in the middle, life is a maze and love is a riddle, I don't know where to go, can't do it alone I've tried..." This song rocks, even if it doesn't sound like it. A Day Late But Worth the Wait...

Sorry for no post's yesterday. We went out to Point Reyes up here in Nor. Cal. for a great, very relaxing day on the beach!

Paul almost killed one of the seagulls that was pestering us, he knocked it unconscious for about 1 minute then it was disoriented and threw up and pooped. Thank god there was not some earthy hippy around, he would have definitely been reported to the park service...or something.

Probably the best part of the day was when Aaron and Paul had realized they forgot to bring swim shorts and wanted to go in the water, so David offered up his to Paul and Katie Munn offered HER'S to Aaron, take a look at this video!

New Kids on the Block.!!!!!

Shauna sent me a package today and I tore it open because I have been anticipating it for more than a week! It was filled with the new NKOTB CD and their greatest hits one and the DVD!!!! AHHHH I am so excited. I literally screamed like a little girl, ran around the house, stuck the new CD in the computer and immediately 1. downloaded it. 2. played it. Aaron was in the bathroom shaving while I was a little girl jumping up and down on the couch dancing along to it. I can't wait for the concert...YES.... I am going to the concert! Ok to make it worse, here is a video of me all excited and dancing like a fool.

Almost Friday....

The only good thing about Friday being tomorrow is that I know, I will feel relieved and free at the end of the day. The worst part about Friday being tomorrow, is that I still have to work for 8....well 7 hours, and I still have to get up at the butt crack of dawn. gross.

So my ebay shoes came in the mail this evening, and I can now honestly say that " I have walked in someone else's shoes". It is kind of weird knowing that someone else's feet were in these shoes. and it is kind of interesting at the same time thinking about the places where they have been. Maybe she was some rich chick and these shoes drove in a Porsche and danced the night away in the Miami night life. they have worn toes so I don't imagine she was "rich" because if I was rich I sure as hell would have only worn these twice, if that, and then chucked them to the goodwill. So maybe she is just a simpleton like me. So Here is a picture of the new-old shoes that I am currently wearing and probably will be wearing tomorrow as well- Hello! It's something new. Don't you always have to wear your "new" things the very first opportunity that you get? Even if it is mildly inappropriate for the occasion (which by the way, these are NOT, they will look great with my casual Friday jeans!)?

Pelvic Thrusts....Trust me it's not as bad as it sounds...or maybe it is...

...So One day I am going to have to post a picture on here, of myself, that I really don't want to....Especially after tonight's blog. And if I had it on my computer I would probably post it for all three of you who read this....

I am taking a Pilates class through the jr. college. It is one hell of a work out. Tonight we did hip thrusts. I couldn't help but think, if I only had a friend in here we would be dying laughing! Sarah or Erin on Shauna can you imagine laying on the ground, knees bent, hands flat by your butt, pushing your pelvis into the air, "and lift and release, and lift...and release...and squeeze the buttox...and release....do you feel it in your abdomen?!" It is like the laughter is hardly containable!!!! And then the only other thing I could think of was Jane Fonda, and putting my mom's work out video in and doing the whole work out when I was 7...and what's worse, I actually have my mom's WAY high cut leotard and the metallic super skin tight leggings to go with the video- STILL! This brings me to the picture that I want to post (why, I am just not quite sure, but maybe to give you a glimpse into who I really am....or whatever), The picture has me wearing that outfit, and if you have it, email it to me....I have worn it several times, so I know SEVERAL people have it, sad-but true. One day that will be all I will post, just that picture. -Man the anticipation you must be feeling!!! But you will have to wait.

Not much else to say, other than Erin S. is writing a book and I told her at some point I would post about it. It is about a girl and a boy and tonight I found out that it will be somewhat based at UC Berekely (god i hate spelling that word, i never know if I put enough "e"'s in there). Sweet, I am sure more is to come. Actually, we may start our own blog and/or podcast, but more to come on that too....we are funny, you know....

Disclaimer, 1. this was not the first time I wore this outfit (nor was it the last, and I am sad to say all of that) 2. This instance was a bet, at the end of my freshman year in college I was supposed to get $5.00 for going out in the public green and do some jazzercise moves...needless to say my "friends" never paid me, after I did it and THOROUGHLY embarrassed myself.

It's only Tuesday....Damn!

...The sad truth is that I am home and not doing anything better than posting my thoughts on a blog. Lame.

Just finished watching last night's episode of One Tree Hill. Why the hell is that show so addicting?! I have watched every episode (save for maybe 2 that I missed like three years ago before there was TIVO!- Thank God for TIVO....or my knock of version, provided by the ever-overpriced Comast) and can never wait for the next one. I always hate the season finally's because #1 it is always a cliff hanger and I am like "YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE ME WAIT THE WHOLE SUMMER TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS?!- SUCK!!!!!!" AND #2 I am alwasy scared that they are going to cancel the show before the next season and it is going to be another "My So Called Life" (oooo good name for a blog, maybe I will switch mine....)- HOLD ON JUST ONE SECOND! I was just flipping back to itunes to switch the song and last nights One Tree Hill episode was NUMBER 2 on the most downloaded! Praise Jesus! I NOW HAVE FAITH MY SHOW WON'T GET CANCELLED. Thank God for Itunes! - and now back to what i was saying- Where you have no idea what the hell was going to happen, if the dad really did cheat on the mom, and if ricki....oh lord, my pathetic, pathetic life...I will say no more, I have already embarrassed myself enough for one night... I won't even begin to go into how I had tears in my eyes watching the previews for next week!!!!

What the Hell?....

...That's what Aaron is saying right now as our Comcast Cable is skipping through his english narrated program about someone's house....I have NO IDEA! "OOOO Basil! He inherited a Castle..." hmph, that's interesting.

So I was on the Taylor's Blog today. Check it out if you have time eandstay.blogspot.com. Erin is prego and needed a nap this weekend, thank God she got it! I needed a nap today. I think I jinxed myself last night when I was "loathing monday", I should NOT have done that becuase today ROYALLY SUCKED! There is nothing like being so tired that you literally can't make it through with out that oh-so-invigorating cup of Joe and then being short staffed, and told to your damn work "SELL SELL SELL" and not to get any of it done becuase your Fing phone won't stop ringing. I felt bad for my receptionist today, because by 11:00 I was answering "you've got to be kidding me!" I can't wait for my other collegue to be back tomorrow and Thursday I get to sleep in an hour (yippee!)....just to leave an hour later (SUCK!).

Well I bought my very first item on ebay! I am such a dork. I went to my dad's house so he could show me "the tricks" to getting what you want on ebay. If we had a video camera on us you would have been laughing so hard (especially Sara Lunde!). Let me just tell you how it went down. My dad has this timed to a tee. This man is amazing he sits there until there is like 3 minutes left in the auction, then he starts refreshing the page as he is watching his MOPAR clock with. When the thir had hits at 1/4 hour incriment he hits refresh, to time 1. how long it takes the page to reload (for your purchase of corse...) and two to see and what point the auction will end. So if the you hit refresh at the 12 #1 the page refreshes at 1 second after the 1 you know that is where you will need to be. and #2 the time on the "end auction" counter says 2 minutes 34 seconds you know that you need to be....somewhere....I have already forgot and if I thought about it more...I still wouldn't care...welll maybe a little bit. The point is we were both hovered over the computer he is talking about bidder n***r like "she" is out to get us (of course it is a she because duh it's a pair of women's shoes....I thought he, but we will go with his instinct) and I have seriously butterflies, getting all clamy and sweaty like it is the end of the world and we have to get these dang BCBG Shoes or it will all be over (...oh just wait....we lost one auction that was hilarious!) so here we go it is down to the 3 on the clock and my dad starts clicking the button, it doesn't work we have go back and then click again and then.....WE WIN! but no time to celebrate because we got to get the white shoes too that n***r is bidding on (that biatch~haha). I won't take you through the painful loosing details, but I guess I didn't "click the button enough times" (isn't one time all you need?) so we lost. you should have seen my dad. He SHOOTS up out of his chair "DANG IT!!!!!!" he's all mad, it was hilarious! I was all "dad, it's not a big deal, I didn't want to pay $30 for those shoes anyway, and there will be more".

Posting on Ebay

...SO...I just listed my first item for sale on ebay...what the F! That took So friggin long! They don't make it easy, but like Aaron says, I only had to do it once. Even the Easy as "1-2-3" wasn't that easy considering I had to link up my paypal account, ebay had to call me, and I had to give them another friggin credit card! Oh well its over. Thank God!

So you are probably wondering what I listed?..No, ok then, I don't care either (but for you inquisitive people, it is a "gently used" cell phone battery.- will it sell...probably not....so I just wasted a whole dang hour of my life- I'll get over it....i guess).

I am bidding for the like, maybe 5th time in my life (have had the ebay account for about 7 years) on two pairs of SUPER CUTE! BCBG Girls shoes, and already I am out bid on the pair that I really want! dang! Ok so should I bid $25.00? Probably would be a good idea...but I will play the game (ok my DAD of all people taught me "the game" of ebay...I feel way out of touch!) and wait till the last minute to put in my more than likely, $30.00!!! dollar bid, to win the shoes and then find them for $15.00 in Marshall's next week. That's life right?- SUCK! The black ones are cute, so hopefully I get those for $5.00 - SWEET! so life balances out in ebay land...well kind of.

Well this weekend was another bust, except for the fact that....what the heck am I listening too - country- hold on gotta change this-betohven (sp whatever!)- carrie- more classical- wierd stuff-Beastie Boys- DONE!...where was I? Oh right... I WON THE FRIGGIN BAKING CONTEST! My Ugglier than heck brownies beat out, carrot cake, banana whoopy pies and some totally awesome butterscotch layered something! Ladies and Gentlemen (who am I kidding no one reads this)...-To Me- Presentation counts for NOTHING when you reach the heart of men through their mouths....it all ends up in the same place.

Sept. 5th 2008...The Beginning...

Don't you hate templates? There is nothing more annoying than wanting to combine all the templates you see and only getting to choose one...Or maybe I was just too tired to read the "customization" part....never the less, here I am blogging, for the first time, well, ever. My Title "Nothing Funnier Has Happened" came about because I had to think fast, and my first "Brilliant" idea for a blog name was already taken, don't worry it wasn't that great. Really anything I picked, especially at this god awful hour would not have been a good choice, so I went with something, that at that particular moment I thought was "ironic" though I still haven't really come to trully understand the meaning of "irony" in any of it's forms. All that pops into my head is that over played, awful Alanis Morisett song, and I really am not trying to go to sleep singing it, so I will move on.

We (that is, my husband and I) bought our first "new" car this past weekend. Ironic, right?; no that wasn't the right use for it.... anyway, it is definitely awesome and something we never thought that we would be able to buy, or WANT to buy for that fact. But the onset of major problems with our FORD (Fix Or Repair Daily- or so one of my colleagues so graciously reminded me- liked I needed it) and the forethought of Children really made us make a decision (which is about number 1 million on my list of things that I most like to do). Oh, yeah it's a Mazda 3, and NO it is not Hatchback, helllloooooo, children and hatchback is like trying to be 17 when you are 30 (if that relation made no sense, it's ok, I didn't get it either- it's late remember AND EXCEPT IF YOU ARE JOANIE WILLS - SHE IS PERFECT JUST THE WAY SHE IS AND IS NOT PRETENDING TO BE YOUNGER THAN SHE IS IN HER MAZDA 3 HATCHBACK). So we are trying to pawn off our FORD which has a laundry list of problems, so I decided to put it on Craigslist, for some schmuck to get interested in. Can you believe some *&% %#$@ Called me at 11:00 pm about it? It's ok I was up, but seriously! who does that. He must have gmail and added me to his buddies or something and saw that I was still up (though the damn thing stays on all night, so I guess he should have been more thoughtfull and called me at 2 am.....remind me to "sign out" of my gmail account tonight). Well at least we got an offer on that thing, now we have to decide if we should accept it.....probably would be a good idea.
