Dude! So I was in a store maybe it was yesterday or maybe it was today....gosh one day bleeds into another when you work for a living....anyway all in one aisle I saw:
- Candy- What!? Who's buys that this far in advance?
- Costumes: Isn't that like a last minute decision thing?
- PUMPKINS!- HELLO! It is still September! The pumpkin will wilt and die before halloween night comes! What the F!
- IT'S STILL SEPTEMBER!
- We aren't even close to Halloween, let along thanksgiving. That is another 10 Weeks; 69 days (hehe); 1656 hours!
- Please just reference all the above comments.
I just don't get it. Do the stores really think that we prepare
that early?!!! REALLY! I mean here is what I do, and I know there is a ton of you who do the same:
1. I buy just under a year a head for the next years holidays (i.e. I hit the sales the day after the holiday event)
2. I wait till the very last minute to buy the crap that has to be bought near the day of the holiday event, so I can garuntee to get the best price possible, and only buy what I need.
3....and I am not even "poor".
Do you feel me or what? I just hate seeing all these holidays bleed into one, and get promoted way too early!

We made it to the Lunde's almost on time... The day started out early, leaving the house at quarter after seven and we finally made it to the Lunde's avout 4:45...two flights, and one MAD dash through the Vancouver Airport, landed us here safe and out of breath!
