The Best News of the Month

So my best friend got engaged this past weekend. It's been almost six years of waiting for the most important question to come up in Erin's life... Nate asked and Erin said YES!!!!! We are so so so excited...that makes four weddings for us for 2010 and we couldn't be happier. Congrats to our friends and family- Erin and Nate, Kaitlin and Paul, Amanda and Bill and Kris ad Derek!!!!

The Drive to Costa Mesa- WOOt wOOt!

This will be a four or so part blog. So check back each day for a new event from the weekend since that is the only time I can seem to do anything interesting and I HAVE to go to W-O-R-K during the week!

Kaitlin, Kristy (her cousin), Erin S. and I all headed down to a weekend in Costa Mesa spent with Kaitlin's family! We were sooo stoked to go down there that instead of leaving Friday morning we took off after work on Thursday. Our 6:30 departure turned into 7:00...turned in to 8:00... OH WELL! Sometimes you just gotta go with the flow and we were in NO hurry! We made sure to stop off at In-N-Out and get a new found "secret menu" item thanks to Kristi- Double Cooked Fries....talk about a grease bath, but the grils loved them- animal style and all! I had of course the plainest of plain fries and cheesburger! Yum!

We headed out of In N Out about 9:00 and made the long drive down to Costa Mesa in about 5 hours! Woo Hoo! We got in at 2AM to a very welcoming Uncle JD! What a sweet heart he was. He came out and greeted us at our car... I am just glad he found us in the car and not in the middle of the cul-de-sac.....but that is another story......

Last Sunday....We DEMO'd

Well last weekend wasn't a total waste. I actually got a chance to get out of the house on Sunday. I was feeling much better and so I told Aaron- "we are leaving as soon as I finish getting ready!" We headed out at 9:30 to Sonic burger for a cherry slush, then ran over to say "howdy" to Erin and see her new place, then we ran a couple more errands and finally I kicked Aaron to the curb and went back to Erin S.'s and we demo'd the closet!
We had such a blast! Her dad and Nate were there, but us Ladies did a lot of the hard work. Erin and I took off the door, I took out all the tackboarding from the carpet and we all had a hand in the destruction of the closet.
There's nothing more satisfing than slinging an ax through a wall...and not getting in trouble for it! hahah!
The picture to the side is a little collage of our successful day. It took about 3 hours to bring the whole thing down. Nate rewarded us with his mom's Taco Salad....MMMMMMM!!!!!! And we all pretty much collapsed....well sorta.

Well Bloggers, it seems no one is reading my blog, so it doesn't really matter, but just in case you happen across this and want to know whats been up this past week here it is.... well at least friday!

It was an unlikely source, the throw up I mean...or maybe it was the most likely source! Emma got a little drunk off her usual serving of milk and then Aunt KK decided to Airplane her in the air, and got the residual effect of PUKE ALL DOWN HER SHIRT!!!!

Now that the "third person" is done, let's divulge a little of Aaron's 27th birthday party happenings!!!

Aaron turned 27 (ooo getting so close to 30!) last monday the 13th, and we celebrated on the 17th at my dad's house as our group of friends keeps getting larger and our home stays the same- at 918 sq/ft! Not to mention it was blazing hot and we would have been like sardines in a sauna at our place! So dad, Katie and Davina opened their home to us (not that they had much of a choice) and we threw a great party- beerpong and all!

We ordered Mecca for Din and had a great time eating with all our guests...then we had an even greater time playing Flip-cup and beer pong. And to top off the night we had a Girls V. Guys Catch Phrase game....the guys "won" by cheating and later- like two days later- Aaron finally admited that they had cheated to win.

A week goes by so fast....

Some day I will get really good at posting every day! I swear I could generate enough content to keep you entertained each day, it's just finding the time! GRRRR! Time Robbers!

Alrighty- so 4th of July was last week, and this is nothing less than untimely but here are some super sweet pix from our super fun 4th of July party at the Richardson's!

p.s. Justice found a new girlfriend-Davina. And Sean and Kurt are not really that drunk! And Sean doesn't have a black eye, he's just....drunk?! hahaha

ANOTHER BABY HAS ARRIVED!!!!

Well it's been a long time since I have posted on here, and for those of you who are still sticking with me I am so sorry! Things have been crazy!

The last posting was on the delivery of Erin T.'s baby girl Emma Grace. And I am proud to announce to you that this posting is on the delivery of another precious girl very close to our hearts!!

Sara L. had Isabella Marie at 12:50 am this morning! Weighing in at 7lbs 1oz and 20.5 inches long! Everyone is doing great, daddy says (...to me at 2 am this morning- whew!).
Daddy Matt is a Super Fantastic Photographer so I will have some more Super Fantastic Pictures up just as soon as I get a hold of them!!

This is the last of the babies for a while. Joslyn is expecting a girl in mid June and Rachael is expecting a baby in October...So more to come on those great new lives!

The Blog Frenzie

So Sister Katie has a blog now! www.cateringtofaults.blogspot.com. I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but i am sure it is good. Check it out, it is on my blog list to the left.

Tonight we had a wonderful dinner with Christine, Antonio, Baby Katherine, Joslyn and Justice, Erin S.* (to protect the not so innocent) and Lisa! Aaron came after class, and I DIDN'T BURN THE MEAL AND IT DID TASTE GREAT! Comments from the peanut gallary gladly accepted!

Erin S. did great with her try's at speaking spanish to Antonio. The best was " 'chi chi' that's milk right?" and Christine responding with "NO! That's Boobie!" hahahah! Classic Erin S. moment right there; it was almost as good as "Para Ti- like a Par-ty, you know 'Fiesta' !?" and " I remembered my 'biblioteca'" (which was for "bible")! So great! I love watching and listening to her try to speak spanish, though I will say mine is not much better...I lack confindence more than anything. Other than that, it was a calm enjoyable night.

On To Thursday...

So if you haven't checked out the comments from yesterday, you really must! hahah! Guess what?! I think I actually got some one to read my crappy blog that DOES NOT know me! What are the chances! They didn't like it, clearly, but who cares. Maybe I put a bug in them and they will just feel like they have to come back for more...Or Not.

Ok so the funniest thing- In pilates class today, we got these new balls- like resistance balls (see picture). And I really wished at the moment that we were squeezing the balls between our thighs that I could be writing this blog live. I almost texted Erin S. that I was "Squeezing a ball between my legs, and NO it wasn't Aaron's (of which he has two, just to clarify)!" hahahaha! Just thought that was funny, oh and the fact that I was "squeezing and releasing the ball, and pumping my hips" all at the same time. Something is just seriously wrong with that.

Well that pretty much does it. This was probably the lameset blog I have left yet. But look to the left and you will see the Erin S. and I will soon be working on a blog that is sure to have you in stiches, everytime (or at least we will be).

Pelvic Thrusts....Trust me it's not as bad as it sounds...or maybe it is...

...So One day I am going to have to post a picture on here, of myself, that I really don't want to....Especially after tonight's blog. And if I had it on my computer I would probably post it for all three of you who read this....

I am taking a Pilates class through the jr. college. It is one hell of a work out. Tonight we did hip thrusts. I couldn't help but think, if I only had a friend in here we would be dying laughing! Sarah or Erin on Shauna can you imagine laying on the ground, knees bent, hands flat by your butt, pushing your pelvis into the air, "and lift and release, and lift...and release...and squeeze the buttox...and release....do you feel it in your abdomen?!" It is like the laughter is hardly containable!!!! And then the only other thing I could think of was Jane Fonda, and putting my mom's work out video in and doing the whole work out when I was 7...and what's worse, I actually have my mom's WAY high cut leotard and the metallic super skin tight leggings to go with the video- STILL! This brings me to the picture that I want to post (why, I am just not quite sure, but maybe to give you a glimpse into who I really am....or whatever), The picture has me wearing that outfit, and if you have it, email it to me....I have worn it several times, so I know SEVERAL people have it, sad-but true. One day that will be all I will post, just that picture. -Man the anticipation you must be feeling!!! But you will have to wait.

Not much else to say, other than Erin S. is writing a book and I told her at some point I would post about it. It is about a girl and a boy and tonight I found out that it will be somewhat based at UC Berekely (god i hate spelling that word, i never know if I put enough "e"'s in there). Sweet, I am sure more is to come. Actually, we may start our own blog and/or podcast, but more to come on that too....we are funny, you know....

Disclaimer, 1. this was not the first time I wore this outfit (nor was it the last, and I am sad to say all of that) 2. This instance was a bet, at the end of my freshman year in college I was supposed to get $5.00 for going out in the public green and do some jazzercise moves...needless to say my "friends" never paid me, after I did it and THOROUGHLY embarrassed myself.

What the Hell?....

...That's what Aaron is saying right now as our Comcast Cable is skipping through his english narrated program about someone's house....I have NO IDEA! "OOOO Basil! He inherited a Castle..." hmph, that's interesting.

So I was on the Taylor's Blog today. Check it out if you have time eandstay.blogspot.com. Erin is prego and needed a nap this weekend, thank God she got it! I needed a nap today. I think I jinxed myself last night when I was "loathing monday", I should NOT have done that becuase today ROYALLY SUCKED! There is nothing like being so tired that you literally can't make it through with out that oh-so-invigorating cup of Joe and then being short staffed, and told to your damn work "SELL SELL SELL" and not to get any of it done becuase your Fing phone won't stop ringing. I felt bad for my receptionist today, because by 11:00 I was answering "you've got to be kidding me!" I can't wait for my other collegue to be back tomorrow and Thursday I get to sleep in an hour (yippee!)....just to leave an hour later (SUCK!).

Well I bought my very first item on ebay! I am such a dork. I went to my dad's house so he could show me "the tricks" to getting what you want on ebay. If we had a video camera on us you would have been laughing so hard (especially Sara Lunde!). Let me just tell you how it went down. My dad has this timed to a tee. This man is amazing he sits there until there is like 3 minutes left in the auction, then he starts refreshing the page as he is watching his MOPAR clock with. When the thir had hits at 1/4 hour incriment he hits refresh, to time 1. how long it takes the page to reload (for your purchase of corse...) and two to see and what point the auction will end. So if the you hit refresh at the 12 #1 the page refreshes at 1 second after the 1 you know that is where you will need to be. and #2 the time on the "end auction" counter says 2 minutes 34 seconds you know that you need to be....somewhere....I have already forgot and if I thought about it more...I still wouldn't care...welll maybe a little bit. The point is we were both hovered over the computer he is talking about bidder n***r like "she" is out to get us (of course it is a she because duh it's a pair of women's shoes....I thought he, but we will go with his instinct) and I have seriously butterflies, getting all clamy and sweaty like it is the end of the world and we have to get these dang BCBG Shoes or it will all be over (...oh just wait....we lost one auction that was hilarious!) so here we go it is down to the 3 on the clock and my dad starts clicking the button, it doesn't work we have go back and then click again and then.....WE WIN! but no time to celebrate because we got to get the white shoes too that n***r is bidding on (that biatch~haha). I won't take you through the painful loosing details, but I guess I didn't "click the button enough times" (isn't one time all you need?) so we lost. you should have seen my dad. He SHOOTS up out of his chair "DANG IT!!!!!!" he's all mad, it was hilarious! I was all "dad, it's not a big deal, I didn't want to pay $30 for those shoes anyway, and there will be more".

I will just leave you with that totally sad sad sad truth to my life! hahaha! Good luck Tuesday, Let's hope it is much better than Monday....
