Mi Wuk!

So the next day after aaron's birthday we packed up, kicked Matt out of the house (he stayed the night... it was a sleep over! hahaha), woke Jame's butt up and hauled ourselves up to Senora to stay the rest of the weekend with Aaron's family in a cabin they had rented up there. We had a blast hanging at the beach and hanging with the family! There is not too much more to say about it, but that it was relaxing and nice to get away for even just a night- and to spend some time with the fam!

Don't Tell DAD....

...but someone puked at the party!

Well Bloggers, it seems no one is reading my blog, so it doesn't really matter, but just in case you happen across this and want to know whats been up this past week here it is.... well at least friday!

It was an unlikely source, the throw up I mean...or maybe it was the most likely source! Emma got a little drunk off her usual serving of milk and then Aunt KK decided to Airplane her in the air, and got the residual effect of PUKE ALL DOWN HER SHIRT!!!!
Now that the "third person" is done, let's divulge a little of Aaron's 27th birthday party happenings!!!
Aaron turned 27 (ooo getting so close to 30!) last monday the 13th, and we celebrated on the 17th at my dad's house as our group of friends keeps getting larger and our home stays the same- at 918 sq/ft! Not to mention it was blazing hot and we would have been like sardines in a sauna at our place! So dad, Katie and Davina opened their home to us (not that they had much of a choice) and we threw a great party- beerpong and all!
We ordered Mecca for Din and had a great time eating with all our guests...then we had an even greater time playing Flip-cup and beer pong. And to top off the night we had a Girls V. Guys Catch Phrase game....the guys "won" by cheating and later- like two days later- Aaron finally admited that they had cheated to win.

YAY! I posted again!

On the 3rd of July aaron took me to see Wicked! This was a on-time, late Birthday present. My mom and he went in together to get the tickets, but had to purchase them so far in advance that we had to see a showing in July! Oh well it was definitely worth it. The funniest thing was/is, that I have been "singing" Popular and Defying Gravity for about two years, and Aaron has hated every chorus of it...until he saw the musical on the 3rd! hahaha! those were his two favorite scenes! haha!

Before we went to the play...which Aaron said was not as good as Mama Mia, but was still good,I took him to this new bar that had just opened called Rickhouse, on Kearny St. in SF. It boasted of a huge selection of Scotch's....there were 5 PAGES of choices!!!!!! Aaron was, needless to say, in HEAVEN! Here are some great photos we took from the evening.- Enjoy

So Katie, Aaron and I were watching America's Got Talent last night (7/8/09) and this little girl walks on stage and does her act and we all look at each other and say "oh my gosh! I Aaron and [Kristin] had a kid this would be it!" Quirky, musical and full of energy....HEAVEN HELP US!

P.S. Hit PAUSE on the Pandora App at the very bottom of the page!

P.S. Haven Bella Kipp. was born last night at 7:08 on 7/8 weighing in at 6 lbs 7 oz and 19" long!

Canada- Revisited...

Sorry about the week delay in getting these last three days up. We got busy with the "real world". Here's a summery of the last Three Days in The Okanagan (DRINK!)

DAY 7- THE WINERIES!
So they tell us that The Okanagan (DRINK!) is like the Napa Valley of BC....hmmm well, it's not quite that, but it was still good....they actually might one up us on the view, no not actually, they really do!
We went to three wineries, each progressively better. When we got to the last (Mission Hills- where most of these views are from) Sara looked at Aaron and I an said "I am glad we did them in the order we did, otherwise this would have SUCKED!" Yep- She was right. After words Aaron, Wilf, Matt and I hit up a local brewery called Freddies. I was the DD for these gentlemen, regardless the four of us had a nice time and I got carded...guess I look younger than 19! WHAT!??

DAY 8- Our last full day in The Okanagan (DRINK!)
This morning Aaron and I started watch The Sentinel. Once Sara got her sorry butt out of bed, we played Makeup! LOL! I brought some of my Mary Kay samples up there so that I could do a "demo" with her and write off the trip (woo hoo!). We had such a fun time just going through the motions, and it was good practice for me! I loaded her up with goodies too! I think she was pretty stoked.
After lunch we took off to the Value Village looking for Aaron Moose shirt- and we were successful! Actually 5 shirts deep successful! I will post a picture of that later. Sara scored on some awesome kids books, and I got away scott free...
Thant night we dropped Bells off at the grandparents and took a drive up the MTN. and a nice hike along some summer laden (ok it was still cold 11c) ski slopes! What a Blast! I think we captured our Christmas card picture there too!

DAY 9- The Ending...
All good things must come to an end. Today we had a great breakfast with Crew at The Polson Diner (we like to call it the Poisin Diner) puzt around a bit and then headed for the Airport....this time we did NOT run through the Vancouver airport; We sat for 3.5 hours! What a stinkin long layover! We had some beer, bought some time on a Internet Kiosk (which still has 39 minutes left on it, if we ever get back there...and I remember the password) and puzt around some more, and some more, and then finally hit the tarmak and got our butts home....whew. We walked in the door at 11:00 pm- and crashed into bed!

Definitely a great trip. Thanks Sara and Matt and Isabella for housing us and showing us a good time in The Okanagan (now DRINK!) Heh hhh!

Michael Jackson- Dead at Age 50...

This has been a tough week in the Entertainment world. First Ed McMahon died on Tuesday, Farrah Faucet this morning after her 2 year battle with cancer, and just this afternoon, The King of Pop, Michael Jackson dies from a heart attack... What more can I say.... I am deeply sorrowed.

Six days...WOW! and we still have more?????

We were having technical difficulties last night, sorry this is a little late.
Day six was a Rainy day...
...But we made the most of it.
Before the rain swept in Aaron and I had a chance to take the bikes out once again and go for a ride down to a little breakfast place we found on our first bike ride a couple days ago. We had a nice little breakfast and on our way back encountered the beginning of the rain storm. By the time we got home we were wet...not soaked, but just a little damp.
We waited out the storm and once it blew over a bit we grabbed Sara and the babe and ventured out to Davison Orchard, a local apple orchard that harvest's more than just apples.

From there we did some errands and then went home for a little R&R.
We had a great pasta dinner and then dropped the little one off at grandma and grandpa's so we could all go on a double date (that ended with us sitting half way across the theatre from each other) to see The Hangover. Deffinitely a funny movie, but definitely not one to waster your $10 on...wait to see it on video...errr is that word out dated??? DVD??....no wait, VOD (Video on Demand...i.e. netflix via XBox righ?).
So we ended the night with cookies....mmmmm cOOOKIES!!!!!

Five down...

Day Five was another nice day. We got a really late start and as a result had a really lazy morning. I flipped on the tube and watched "In Her Shoes" while Sara slept and took care of the baby and Aaron stared at me with puppy dog eyes "when are we going to go???"
Once Matt got home we took a drive with some friends of his that were in from England, and went up a back road made of gravel and up a mountain practically to try to get a "hidden" waterfall. Well we didn't make it up there until 2:00 and we were all famished so we parked ate, and gotten eaten alive by bugs, so we decided to forgo the hike up to the waterfall and drive back down to one of the trillion lakes around here. The guys had a great time in the water and throwing around the frisbee, while I read some more of The Shack and Sara and Mandy played with their little ones.
We ended the day with some gread Thai food and a bowl of ice cream. All in all a pretty lazy day, but none the less got some good pictures to share...

Day Four Already?

Today was a full day...
We started fairly early this AM...8:11 to be exact. Because we are so far north in the hemisphere the sun stays up late and comes up early, we are darking dark hours between 10 pm and 4 am, and I am not joking. I have woken up every morning so far at 4 to pull down the shade so we can get a couple extra hours of ZZZZZ's. We have been up and out till almost 10 because until about 9 it feels like it is 5 in the afternoon (no, not "nine in the afternoon, your eyes are the size of the moon")!
...Ok so back to what I was saying...the day started early. Aaron took a 2.5 mile run while I dove in to my latest read: The Shack (so far so good- Chapter 5). Around 10 Aaron and I borrowed Matt and Sara's Mountain bikes and headed out for a nice ride in the "country". It totally felt like we were in Europe, touring the countryside on our bikes!

We got home a little before noon, just in time to have a nice lunch with Matt (who had to work today) and then off to walk the Downtown area with Sara and the baby.

While we were on our nice little walk we saw our first and informedly "only" Canadian Mounty encounter....on the side of a van! I guess there is really no such thing as the ture Mounty anymore.

Next we took in a nice steak dinner...thank you matt, and then headed for the beach...at 7:30 pm! It is still warm until the sun goes down, so we had to make the most of our day!

The day ended with a bath for bella, and now we are all off to bed! See you tomorrow!
